Every inquiry stays an inquiry until you and Vexnaros agree a price in writing.

Nothing in this document applies retroactively to an inquiry sent before that date. If you sent an inquiry earlier and it is still open, the version of the terms in force on the day you sent it governs that particular exchange, not this one.

Vexnaros trades at vexnaros.com from a single storefront-and-yard unit at 45 River Road, Büro 5, Austin, Texas 26765, United States. It is run by four people and has been operating from that address since 2016. Wherever "we", "us" or "the shop" appears below, it means Vexnaros at that address, not a franchise, a marketplace listing, or a reseller carrying the same items under a different name.

This site is a home and garden goods catalogue: raised garden beds, security lighting, loppers, gloves, kitchenware, protective gear and hand tools, checked by hand before they go on the shelf. What the site does is show you what is in stock, describe it accurately, and let you ask about it by phone, email or the contact form.

What it does not do: it does not arrange installation of anything sold, it does not run a delivery subscription, and it does not act as a marketplace for goods Vexnaros does not itself carry. If an item needs professional installation — a security light wired into house power, say — that work is the buyer's to arrange separately, and Vexnaros will say so plainly when asked.

Every price shown across the catalogue is written as a price basis — "from $28" for the bypass loppers, "from $189" for the cedar raised garden bed kit, and so on. It is the starting figure for that item under normal conditions, not a quote you can hold Vexnaros to and not a total that includes shipping, local tax or a specific configuration you might ask for.

An inquiry becomes an order only when both sides confirm it: you send the form or call the shop, the owner or one of the other three staff answers with the confirmed price, quantity, and shipping arrangement for your specific request, and you agree to that in writing or by a recorded phone confirmation. Until that confirmation exists, no order exists, no stock is reserved, and no money owed.

All figures on this site are in USD. The price basis for each item reflects the material and labor cost Vexnaros pays at the time the catalogue page was last checked — cedar lumber, forged steel, tanned goatskin hide, and the rest move in price over a season, and the shop updates the basis rather than absorb a large swing silently.

A confirmed price can differ from the catalogue's price basis where a customer asks for a variation — an extra coat of finish, a non-standard quantity, a rush order outside the normal three-day Austin shipping window — and the confirmation you receive will say exactly what changed and why before you're asked to agree to it.

You agree not to copy the catalogue's text, photographs or pricing structure for use on another commercial site, not to use automated tools to pull data from these pages at a rate that a normal visitor could not produce by hand, and not to submit an inquiry, chat message or data request under a name, phone number or email address that is not your own.

You may quote a short passage with a link back to the page it came from; you may not republish a full item description or a full-size photograph elsewhere without asking first at office@vexnaros.com.

Nothing here claims ownership of a manufacturer's brand where a supplied component — a blade steel grade, a cast-iron alloy name — is named for accuracy on a spec table. Those names remain the property of whoever holds them.

The catalogue is checked by hand, but a dimension, weight or price basis can occasionally be out of date between a supplier's price change and the next time the shop reviews the page. Vexnaros corrects an error as soon as it is found and will tell you before confirming an order if a figure you were quoted has changed.

Vexnaros does not warrant that any item is fit for a use beyond what its own description states — a pair of bypass loppers is sold for pruning branches up to 1.5 inches, not for a use the description does not claim. No certification is claimed for any item beyond the specification printed on its own page, because no certifying body has issued Vexnaros one.

To the extent Texas law allows, Vexnaros's total liability arising from a confirmed order — for a defective item, a shipping error, or any other claim connected to that order — is limited to the amount actually paid for the item in question. This does not reduce the one-year breakage guarantee described on the guarantee page, which sits alongside this limit rather than being cut down by it.

Vexnaros is not liable for indirect losses — lost time, a project delayed while a replacement part ships, or a similar consequential cost — arising from a delayed or faulty delivery, except where Texas law does not permit that exclusion.

Vexnaros can decline any inquiry it has good reason to doubt — a false address, a request for an item outside what the catalogue actually sells, or a pattern that looks like automated abuse of the contact form or chat widget. This is not common; most inquiries are answered the same afternoon.

Where a visitor's use of the site's forms or chat becomes abusive, repetitive to the point of harassment, or an attempt to probe the site's security, Vexnaros can block that visitor's access to those tools without further notice.

These terms, and any dispute about an order placed through this site, are governed by the law of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any claim that cannot be resolved directly with the shop is to be brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Austin, Travis County, Texas.

When these terms change, the updated version replaces this page and the "last updated" line above is set to the day the change was made. Vexnaros does not maintain a mailing list to announce a terms change; checking this page before sending a large or unusual inquiry is the reliable way to see the current version.
